Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Wavelure ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), a photography and personal branding service provider based in Singapore.

By accessing our website, engaging our services, or entering into any agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Wavelure provides professional photography and personal branding services, including but not limited to:

  • Corporate headshot photography
  • Personal branding consultation and strategy
  • Portfolio development and curation
  • Professional image consulting
  • Digital asset creation and optimization
  • Related creative and consulting services

3. Booking and Contracts

3.1 Service Agreements

All services are subject to a separate service agreement or booking confirmation that will detail specific terms, including:

  • Scope of services
  • Deliverables and timelines
  • Pricing and payment terms
  • Specific terms for your project

3.2 Booking Process

To book our services:

  • Submit an inquiry through our contact form or phone
  • Participate in a consultation to discuss your needs
  • Review and accept a customized service proposal
  • Sign the service agreement and pay the required deposit

3.3 Confirmation

Services are confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement and payment of the required deposit. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include applicable GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% deposit required to confirm booking
  • Balance: Remaining balance due before or at the time of service delivery
  • Payment Methods: Bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods

4.3 Late Payments

Late payments may incur additional charges and may result in delays in service delivery or suspension of services.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Client Cancellation

  • More than 48 hours before: 50% refund of deposit
  • 24-48 hours before: 25% refund of deposit
  • Less than 24 hours: No refund

5.2 Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule once without penalty if done more than 48 hours in advance. Additional rescheduling may incur fees.

5.3 Company Cancellation

If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.

6. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

6.1 Copyright Ownership

Wavelure retains copyright ownership of all photographs and creative works produced during our services. Clients receive usage rights as outlined below.

6.2 Client Usage Rights

Upon full payment, clients receive non-exclusive rights to use the delivered images for:

  • Personal and professional promotional purposes
  • Social media and online profiles
  • Business cards and marketing materials
  • Website and portfolio use
  • Print media and publications

6.3 Restrictions

Clients may not:

  • Sell or license images to third parties
  • Claim ownership or copyright of the images
  • Alter images in a way that misrepresents our work
  • Use images for illegal or defamatory purposes

6.4 Company Usage Rights

We reserve the right to use images for:

  • Portfolio and marketing purposes
  • Website and social media promotion
  • Awards submissions and competitions
  • Educational and training materials

7. Delivery and Timelines

7.1 Delivery Schedule

Final edited images are typically delivered within:

  • Headshots: 5-7 business days
  • Branding packages: 10-14 business days
  • Complex projects: As specified in service agreement

7.2 Preview and Selection

Clients will receive a preview gallery for image selection before final editing, where applicable.

7.3 Delivery Method

Images are delivered via secure online gallery with download capabilities. Physical delivery options available upon request.

8. Client Responsibilities

8.1 Preparation

Clients are responsible for:

  • Arriving on time and prepared for sessions
  • Bringing appropriate clothing and accessories
  • Following pre-session preparation guidelines
  • Providing accurate project requirements

8.2 Conduct

Clients must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during all interactions with our team.

8.3 Information Accuracy

Clients must provide accurate contact and project information to ensure proper service delivery.

9. Liability and Warranties

9.1 Service Warranty

We warrant that our services will be performed with professional skill and care in accordance with industry standards.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Equipment failure or technical issues beyond our control
  • Weather-related delays or cancellations

9.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or health emergencies.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality of all personal and business information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data handling practices.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

11.2 Resolution Process

We encourage clients to first contact us directly to resolve any concerns. If necessary, disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration.

12. Website Terms

12.1 Acceptable Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit harmful or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with website functionality

12.2 Content Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of website content.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with appropriate notice as specified in the individual service contract.

14.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • All outstanding payments become immediately due
  • Usage rights continue for delivered work
  • Confidentiality obligations remain in effect

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any specific service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
